Time to start reading some more. If you already are an intense reader then direct your readings toward birding books. Read some birding stories for inspiration! I like do do that a lot, it gets me pumped up to do some serious birding. I encourage you to look at field guides a lot too but you still must be out in the field just as much as you look at bird guides.
